Eloise Weitman

Eloise Weitman, 76, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation under the care of Bethany Hospice. She was born February 21, 1943 in Glennville to Lester and Bessie Watson Weitman and lived here all of her life. Eloise was a loving caring person who helped on the family farm for many years, before going into the nursing home to be with her mother. Eloise was a mother figure to all who knew her and loved to listen to gospel music and attend gospel sings. She was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church and preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lester Weitman, Jr. and Derrell Weitman; sister, Mary Ann Mobley and nephew, Josh Futch.

She is survived by:

Cheryl Durrence (Robbie) of Glennville, GA

Sisters in law, Patsy Weitman of Glennville, GA

Carolyn Weitman of Auburndale, FL

Aunt, Jeslyn Weitman of Glennville, GA

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Steve Miller officiating. Burial will be in Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
