Elsie Bargeron

Elsie Sikes Bargeron, 83 passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville most of her life moving to Shellman Bluff in 1992. She and her husband owned and operated a produce and pecan business in Darien and Brunswick area for many years. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a former member of Glennville Freewill Baptist Church and current member of Shellman Bluff Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Colon and Hattie Prevatt Sikes, Brothers, Edward Geiger and Hampton Geiger.
She is survived by, Husband, Donette Bargeron of Shellman Bluff
Children, Donnie and Denise Bargeron
Debbie and Larry Stubbs all of Glennville
Grandchildren, Heather and Greg Hammond of Richmond Hill, Heath and Jamie Stubbs of Pooler, Carrie Bargeron of Glennville
Great Grandchildren, Hadley and McCranie Hammond
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Shellman Bluff Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church 1 hour prior to service to lie in state.
