Emily Blocker Hammock, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Lyons at Oxley Park Health and Rehab under the care of Community Hospice. She was a native and lifelong resident of Glennville and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was employed at Glenvue Nursing Home for many years and worked as a Home Health Care provider. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Mary Allen Blocker; husband, John E. Hammock; sons, John and David Hammock; 1 brother and 1 sister
Surviving are:
2 daughters, Belinda(Juan)Cardoza of Beaumont, TX
Debbie(Gary)Banks of Glennville
1 son, Dana (Kimi)Hammock of Glennville
1 sister, Onell Barnard of Glennville
9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren
Visitation will be Thursday, March 27, 2014, beginning at 6:00 pm at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 28, 2014 in the Brannen Kennedy Chapel with Rev. Jerry Knight and Rev. Bryan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Beards Creek Church Cemetery.

Jeremy Dykes, and Louis Knight.
