Erik O'Neal

Erik “Bubba” O’Neal, 41, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Houston Health Care in Perry, Georgia. He was born December 8, 1981, and was a 2000 graduate of Toombs County High School. Bubba, as he was affectionately known, loved to fish, hunt, be outdoors, work with his hands, target shooting and complete crossword puzzles. He also loved to watch westerns, Dukes of Hazzard and drag racing, especially Street Outlaws. Bubba enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his niece and nephew. He had an outgoing personality, loved to be in a crowd and never met a stranger. Bubba is preceded in death by, his mother, Lila Johnson O’Neal, paternal grandparents, Winton “Peanut” and Lucile O’Neal, maternal grandparents, Gwen and Sam Freeman.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, April 17, 2023 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow at Pigott Branch Church Cemetery.
