Eugene Talmadge Griffin, 85, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. The Tattnall County native had lived here all of his life. He was retired from the National Guard Training Center at Ft. Stewart, was a farmer and former school bus driver. He attended Northside Baptist Church.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Bill Eller officiating. Burial will follow in the Glennville City Cemetery.
