Claxton- Mrs. Eula Lee Colson Rogers 90, of Claxton died Friday morning at Camellia Health and Rehab under the care of her loving family, and Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was of the Primitive Baptist faith and attended Canoochee Old Line Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard, quilting and baking all kinds of cakes with a 14 layer chocolate being her specialty. She was predeceased by her husband Tommie Wilburn Rogers, parents William and Martha Ann Colson; 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

She is survived by daughters Becky (Robert) West, of Metter; Diane (Charlie) Parker, of Claxton. Grandchildren Chris (Monica) West, Jason West all of Metter; Paige (Benji) Callaway of Collins. Great-Grandchildren Tate, Cace and Emma West; Emily, Hunter, and Ashten Callaway. Sister Mattie (Jack) Boatright of Claxton; sister in laws Lulene Haire and Lucille (Robby) Sapp all of Claxton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday March 29, 2014 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday March 30, 2014 3:00pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel.

Burial will follow at Canoochee Old line Primitive Baptist Church Cemetry in Claxton.
