Eunice Coleman Collins

Metter- Mrs. Eunice Coleman Collins 98, of Metter died early Monday morning at Candler County Hospital. The Tattnall County native has lived in Metter most of her life, and was a member of Metter Primitive Baptist Church. She retired from the Candler County Sheriff's Office after serving many years as a Bailiff for Sheriff Homer Bell, as well as being a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, working with flowers, cooking for everybody, and taking care of her animals. She was predeceased by her Husband J.B. Collins, Daughter Joan Williams Leggett, Parents Zibe and Tansy Coleman, Sisters Myrl Godwin, Evelyn Bird Hadden, Lillian Casey, and Brother Fred Coleman.

Survivors include Daughters: Jan (Gary) Bowers of Metter, June Jarriel of Centerville, Joyce (Notty) Watson of Twin City; Sons: Bobby Ray (Jackie) Collins of Twin City, and Joey "J.B." (Cindy) Collins of Metter. Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty Three Great Grandchildren, and eight Great-Great Grandchildren. Also Special Caregivers Francine King, Patricia Smith, Pat Goodman, and Joy Phillips.

Visitation will be held Tuesday May 14, 2013 from 6-8pm at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday May 15, 2013 11:00am at the Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel, with Elder Ron Yeakle and Pastor Mike Clements officiating.

Burial will follow at the Lake Church Cemetery in Metter.

Pallbearers: Ray Collins, Ricky Collins, Don Watson, Dave Watson, Benjie Williams, and Van Williams

Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Williams, Stevie Williams, Rex Jarriel, Bob Watson, and Ben Collins.
