Evelyn Browning

Evelyn Ann Gordon Browning, 75, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1945 in Hinesville, Georgia to David Russell and Mattie Odean Mobley Gordon and lived in Savannah and Liberty County most of her life. Ann served in the US Army for two years and was stationed in Germany and Ft. Stewart. She worked as a legal secretary for numerous law firms for many years and was an avid reader. She was a loving, caring mother and Mimi and was very excited about her very first great grandson to be born in February. Ann was a member of Walthourville Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Browning; siblings, Gail Gordon Davis, David Larry Gordon, David Russell Gordon, Jr., and William Russell Gordon and grandsons, Noah Jones and John Michael Cheeks.

Sisters, Valiery Gordon Mercer of Statesboro, Georgia
Karen Gordon Bergeron of Ft. Pierce, Florida

Grandchildren, Josiah Cheeks (Ashley King), Paul Cheeks (Kara) and Stephanie Cheeks

Several other relatives also survive.
