Mr. Felix Dane Willaford of Quitman, passed away December 10, 2015 in Oak Ridge, TN. Mr Willaford was born November 15, 1930 to the late Felix Monroe Willaford and Ruby Mae Dailey. He was a Korean War Veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years. He then worked in nuclear security for Common Wealth Edison in Illinois for 15 years. He authored two published books, built and flew radio controlled airplanes and was HAM radio operator. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna Jeanne Evans Willaford, beloved Corgi, Dusty, daughters, Diana (Joe) Dunwoody of Syracuse, UT, Dana Willaford of Clinton, TN, grandsons, David Dunwoody of Layton, UT, and Sean (Stephanie) Dunwoody of Lexington, SC.
Burial will be at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia with full military honors, on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
