F. Deryle Dasher 86, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Bethany Assisted Living in Vidalia. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a World War II Veteran, retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a farmer. He was a former member of the Board of Trustees of Bethany and a member and deacon of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Dutton Dasher, Parents, Grady & Zona Jones Dasher, sister and brother in law, Aldeen and Barnie Baxter, Brother in law, Billy Purcell
He is survived by,
Children, Becky Dasher Livingston of Statesboro and Dr. Byron (Beverly) Dasher of Augusta
Sister, Nelwanda Purcell of Glennville
Grandchildren, Lindsay D.(Lee) Holley of Anderson, South Carolina, Ron G. (Lindsey) Dasher of Charlotte, North Carolina and Sarah Dasher Livingston of Statesboro, Georgia
Great Granddaughter, Ella K. Holley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Love's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Church with Rev. Dann Patrick, Ron Dasher and Elder Jim Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the Love's Chapel Church Cemetery.
