Francie Flury

Francine “Fran” Todd Flury, 71, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Augusta University Medical Center. She was born in Reidsville, Georgia on October 13, 1950 to Arie and Lola Grace Iddins Todd and lived in this area all of her life. Fran was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer and loved to spend time with her family. She loved her flower garden, to cut grass on her cadillac lawn mower, to cook and listen to her gospel music nightly. Fran was a member of Stoney Hill Free Will Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Scottie Todd and husband, William “Bill” Flury.

She is survived by:

Sons, Arie Bryant Flury
Shannon P. Flury both of Glennville, Georgia

Sisters, Fay Chalker of Statesboro, Georgia
Robin Cope (Jason) of Glennville, Georgia

Grandchildren, Ariel Anderson, Scott Flury, Aubrey Stone Flury

Great Grandchildren, Macie Anderson, Makensley Anderson, William Anderson

Several other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stoney Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
