Franklin E. "Frankie" Nobles, 70, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro surrounded by his family. Frankie was born June 25, 1948 in Glennville to Jacob and Sara Zorn Nobles and lived here all of his life. He was retired from Winn Dixie as a store co-manager and employed with Department of Corrections at Smith State Prison for several years. He loved to watch NASCAR racing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He also enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons. He was a mason, shriner and a member of the Philadelphia Lodge # 73 F &A.M. and the Tattnall Shrine Club. He was a member of Glennville Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by Wife of 47 years, Kathy H. Nobles of Glennville, GA
Son, Scott Nobles (Margo) of Glennville, GA
Brother, Mike Jones (Lori) of Plains, Ohio
Grandchildren, Erica Nobles Bragdon (Bronson), Sara Katie Nobles Durrence (Peter)
Great Grandchildren, Brooks Bragdon, Joe Bryer Durrence, Everett Bragdon
Canine Companion, Priscee
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. James Bland, Rev. Justin Ray and Bro. Scott Blake officiating. Burial will be in Glennville Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites.
Pallbearers will be, Mike Durrence, Martin O'Donnell, Willie Durrence, Rex Kicklighter, Joey Waters, Vernon Dasher.
