G. Dreggors

G. Larry Dreggors, 74, died Sunday, October 26, 2014 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Glennville and a graduate of Glennville High School. Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation after 34 years as a Survey Engineer. After retirement he worked for R. B. Baker for several years. After retirement he enjoyed fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Jeanette Watson Dreggors; his parents, Daniel Hobson and Minnie Lee Dreggors; sisters, Sue Nell Anderson (Elton), Samarata Griffin (Simmie); brothers, William Dreggors, Norris Dreggors, Roth Raw Dreggors, Doyle Dreggors and LaShrell Dreggors.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Teresa Dreggors Folsom (Joe) and Sonya Dreggors Purcell (Glenn);
Brother: Racile Dreggors (Barbara);
Grandchildren: Blake Stobaugh, Morgan Stobaugh, Brandon Purcell, Reed Purcell, Sydney Purcell;
Great-Grandchild: Braxton Odom;
Step-Grandchildren: Taylor, Brendon and Cayden Folsom;
Sisters-in-Laws: Elaine Dreggors, Novadene Dreggors, and Betty Anne Rogers (Danny);
Special Friend:Lajuan Richardson;
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Tommy Hilliard officiating. Burial will follow in Pigott Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
