Gail Barnard

Gail Purcell Barnard 60, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. She was born in Statesboro, Georgia August 28, 1952 to W.F (Billy) and Nelwanda Dasher Purcell and lived in Glennville, Georgia and Kingston, North Carolina most of her life. She was a follower of Jesus Christ, loving wife, devoted mother and sweet Meme to eight grandchildren. She was a Gifted Pianist and teacher, she faithfully served the Lord as a mentor to many children and women in her school, church and community. Gail is remembered for reading her Bible, talking about Jesus, working in her garden, encouraging and serving others, and playing with her grandchildren she adored. She lived to glorify God and to bring joy to others. A true servant and friend, she will be missed until she is reunited with her family and friends in the presence of Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her Father, W.F. (Billy) Purcell and brother, Alan Purcell

Sister, Susan P. Durrence (Tracy) of Glennville, Georgia

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Cornerstorne Bible Church.
Funeral Services will be held at the Graveside 2:00pm, Sunday, February 24, 2013 Ebenezer Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will be held in Kingston N.C. Tuesday, February 26, 2013
