Gail Dasher

Gail Odom Dasher, 82, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022 peacefully in her sleep at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. She was born December 24, 1939 in Glennville, Georgia to Robert Norval and Kathleen Kicklighter Odom and lived in this area all of her life. Gail was retired from the Tattnall County Clerk of Courts and as a Bailiff for Tattnall County. She was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to Leighton Aubrey Dasher and Aubrey Elwayne Durrence, she was preceded in death by her stepfather Noah “Kirk” Kirkland and brothers, Barry Odom and Edwin Odom.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters-in-law Anda Odom, Virginia Odom, Mary Sue Dasher, Lutrell Durrence and brother-in-law R.L. Dasher.

She is survived by:

April Dasher (Ruthie) of St. Simons Island, Georgia
Billy Dasher (Robbi) of Dacula, Georgia
Ronda A. Plemmons of Dacula, Georgia

Grandchildren, Ellis Durrence (Jessica), Eric Durrence (Jessie), Travis Plemmons, Leisha Walker (Kyle), Heather Hunter (Brian), Jessi Dasher, Sam Daniels, Brooke Ford (Cody)

Fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery.
