Georgia Bland

Georgia Bell Daughtry Bland, 85 passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at Glenvue Nursing Home. She was born January 12, 1925 to Henry and Hilda Daughtry and had lived in this area all of her life. She married Tully M. Bland, June 8, 1940 and loved the outdoors, gardening and helping on the farm. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother and was a member of Loves Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 34 years, Tully M. Bland.

Children, Shava Jean Durrence (Charles) of Glennville
Maurice Bland (Joyce) Broxton, Ga.
Joanne Barrow (Edsel) of Springfield
Leah Burkhalter and Ricky Bland (Katina) all of Glennville
Eleven Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. David Sands officiating. Burial will be in Loves Chapel Church Cemetery.
