Geraldine Smith

Geraldine Cowart Smith, 76 passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was born August 4, 1937 to Ira and Irene Driggers Cowart and lived in Claxton and Glennville most of her life. She was retired from the State of Georgia as a supervisor with Pineland Mental Health. She was a loving caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a member of Gospel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Charles Cowart and sister, Anna Bell Thompson.
She is survived by,
Children, Tom E. Wall and Norma J. Hall both of Claxton
Sisters, Margaret Stalvey and Virginia Proctor of Glennville
Betty (David) Tippins, Carolyn (Jim) Blocker, Kathleen (David) Jones all of Claxton
Brothers, Ander Cowart and Wilmer Cowart both of Claxton
Grandchildren, Brooke Wall, Brandon Wall, Megan Hall
Great Grandchildren, Cade & Cayden Hall, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will began at 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery.
