Glenda Weathers

Glenda Durrence Weathers, 67, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 5, 1954 to Wilburn and Louise Strickland Durrence and lived in this area all of her life. Glenda enjoyed playing pool at the VFW, making jewelry and attending yard sales. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by:

Husband, Eddie Weathers of Reidsville, Georgia

Children, Lem Weathers
Kristal “Nikki” Weathers (O.L. Grimes) all of Glennville, Georgia

Siblings, Debbie Taylor (Don) of Claxton, Georgia
Ricky Durrence (Tracie) of Manassas, Georgia
Mickey Durrence of Manning, South Carolina
Becky Brown of Hartford, Florida

Grandchildren, Michael Love, Jr., Kera Love, Dyllon Weathers

One great grandchild, Josyah Love, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.

Social distancing of three feet due to Covid 19 will be enforced and masks are asked to be worn on all services.
