Glenn Jones

Glenn E. Jones, 79, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was the son of Arnie Lee Jones and Edna Mae Anderson Jones and lived in this area all of his life. He was a Navy veteran (Gunners Mate) in Suez Canal Conflict and a retired master carpenter from Carpenter and Millwrights Local # 256 in Savannah. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 58 years, Jacqueline Jones; and a granddaughter, Candace Canady.

Children: Ronnie Jones of Reidsville
Robin (Randy) Canady of Garfield
John Paul (Rebecca) Jones of Reidsville
Five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 12, 2016 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Bro. Allen Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Watermelon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
