Guineth Speir

Guineth Kicklighter Speir, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 18, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of Savannah Hospice. She was born in Glennville, Georgia to Earnest and Maude Blocker Kicklighter and lived here most of her life. She was employed at Glenvue Nursing Home for many years, a homemaker, loving caring, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving daughter and son, Linda Stanfield and Richard Speir. Siblings, Dwight Kicklighter, Evon Smith, Kathleen Kirkland, Bobbie Jones, Ralph Kicklighter and Raiford Kicklighter.
She is survived by, Children, Peggy Griner (Richard) of Savannah, GA
Randy Speir of Savannah, GA
Jan Hargett of Savannah, GA
Sister in-law, Betty Kicklighter of Sandersville, GA
Special family friend, Debra Barfield and special caregiver, Teena Dailey
Eleven Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. She will be sadly missed by all but was ready to go home to Heaven with a new life without pain and sorrow to be with her heavenly family and our Lord.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Beards Creek Church with Elder David Summerford officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
