Hallie Smith

Metter Hallie Hall Marie Smith, 80, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at her home after an extended illness. A native of Electra, Texas moved to Metter in 1987. She was a retired Master Seamstress and her family considered her a wizard with a sewing machine.

Survivors: Son, Eric (Marion) Smith of Metter, Daughter Brenda (Jerry) Humphrey of Colorado City, Colorado. Grandchildren, Blake Johnson, Christina Smith, Dylan Sapp, Luke Hallford, Zoie Smith, Levi Smith.
Sister, Mel Phelps of Springfield, MO, sister-in-law, Ceclia (Brent) Valentine of North Augusta, SC.

Funeral services and burial will be Friday, October 14, 2011, 1pm. at the Georgia Veterans cemetery in Glennville, GA. The family has requested a private visitation.
