Hannah Folsom

Hannah Purvis Folsom 77, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born on December 26, 1935 to Oscar and Gladys Tyre Purvis. She owned and operated Hannah's Beauty Shop for many years and was a member of Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Step-Mother, Nettie Mae Purvis; Daughter, Jan Folsom; Sister, Juanell Sikes; and Brother, Mitchell Purvis.
She is survived by:
Husband of 58 years, Harold Folsom of Glennville
Children, Robert Harold "Bobby" Folsom
Jay (Angela) Folsom
Jill (Daniel) Dubberly
Joe (Teresa) Folsom all of Glennville

Brother, Reginald Purvis of Glennville

Sister, Dot Brown of Glennville

Nine Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces, and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin 6:00 pm Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Church Cemetery.
