Hazel Fields DeLoach, 82, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her residence under the care of Southern Care Hospice. She was born in Surrency, Georgia February 12, 1939 to William and Minnie Lee Hopkins Fields and lived in this area for many years. Hazel loved to fish, walk, cook, spend time with her family and her dogs. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford DeLoach, Sr., son, Greg Tillman, brothers, Ellis Fields, Eugene Fields, grandsons, Daniel Odom and Phillip DeLoach.
She is survived by:
Children, Jerry DeLoach of Charlotte, North Carolina
Ricky DeLoach of Ludowici, Georgia
Timothy DeLoach (Carol) of Collins, Georgia
Patricia Bryant of Claxton, Georgia
Paul DeLoach (Angela) of Collins, Georgia
Sister, Linda Thompson of Glennville, Georgia
Thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Surrency, Georgia.
