Helen Taylor

Helen Rooks Taylor, 87, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Evans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Toombs County, August 24, 1925 to John Edmond and Lucinda Warnock Rooks. She and her husband had lived in several cities moving to Reidsville in 1978. She was employed with Sears for many years and kept children at her home in her latter years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward Brantley Taylor.
Survivors: Ken & Kim Tatum, Sister, Louie Rogers, Niece, Joyce Williams, special niece and nephews, Kay-Lyn & Kameron Tatum and Tyler Trull. Several other relatives also survive
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Monday, September 24, 2012 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pinegrove Church Cemetery.
