Henry Stanfield

Henry Edward Stanfield, 86, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center. He had lived in Glennville all of his life. He was employed with Anderson Brick Masonry and Whitlow Construction. He also was retired from the City of Glennville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Weathers Stanfield.


He is survived by, Children: Linda Johns (Danny) of Glennville, Georgia
Brenda Powell & Jerry LaRoase of Hinesville, Georgia
James Weathers of Long County, Georgia
Eddie Weathers (Glenda) of Reidsville, Georgia

Brothers: Joe & Vernon Stanfield of Savannah, Georgia
William Stanfield of Bloomingdale, Georgia

Sisters: Alva Dean Forshee of Garden City, Georgia
Reba Boltz of Baltimore, Maryland

Fourteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Eight Great Grandchildren, Five Great-Great Grandchildren several Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, October 29, 2012 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glennville City Cemetery.
