Howard Tripp

Howard Arthur Tripp, 81 passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Ogeechee Area Hospice inpatient center. The Bristol, Connecticut native spent the greater portion of his life in Norwich, New York where he taught High School Industrial Arts, Driver Education, Computer Applications and Computer Programming for 31 years. After retirement he moved to Glennville in 1994 he became a member of Calvary Baptist Church and joined the staff as secretary in 1998 and held the position until retirement in 2010. He will be remembered for writing Sunday School Manuals for the Adult Sunday School classes which was designed to fit the church for those who attended the class. He is preceded in death by, parents, Percy and Rena Bunnell Tripp, wives, Pauline Thomas Tripp and Helen Cribbs Tripp, a brother, Alvin Tripp
He is survived by, Wife of 16 years, Faye P. Tripp of Glennville
Children, Alisa Tripp and Thomas Traver of Washington D.C.
Tammy and Michael Lynn of Glennville
Marcia and Richard Ellis of Rochester NY
Linn and Charlie Feldman of Endwell NY
Brother, Warren Tripp of Groton, Vermont
Special Friends, Dave and Kathy Williams of NY
Grandchildren, Jessica, Audra, Mike, Aaron, Matthew, Kevin, Matt, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm Monday, September 8, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Knight officiating. Burial will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the church at 10:00 am to lie in state.
