Hubert Dale Jones-, 68, passed away June 3, 2012, in the loving presence of his family. After serving his country proudly in Vietnam, Hubert went on to become a loyal employee of Southern Company for 47 years. His passion and enjoyment came in spending time on his farm, and teaching his grandchildren how to be thankful for each day. Hubert is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Rhonella Jones.
Hubert is survived by: his devoted wife Carol Jones; children: Robyn Allen, Stephanie McCord, Holly McFerrin, Ben Jones, and Adam McCord; several grandchildren and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
A private memorial and burial will take place on Friday, June 8, 2012.
