Hugh Blocker Sr.

H. Drexel Blocker Sr. 80, passed away Saturday January 30, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center. He was born July 23, 1935 in Glennville and lived here all of his life. He was a retired accountant at Ft. Stewart and with Dasher and Blocker Income Tax and accounting service. He was a member of Glennville First Christian Church, enjoyed fishing and being with his family He is preceded in death by his, father, Carl Blocker and mother and step-father, Minnie and Wilton Bradley.
He is survived by,
Wife of 61 years, Mary Sikes Blocker of Glennville
Children, Drexel Blocker Jr. (Joanie) of Jesup
Tony Blocker (Vickie) of Bloomingdale
David Blocker (Kim) of Black Creek
Dana Blocker (Delane) of Pembroke
Brother, Buddy Bradley (Jan) of Glennville
Twelve Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:00pm Monday, February 1, 2016 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Graveside Funeral Services will follow Monday at 3:00 pm, at Glennville Memorial Gardens.
