Hugh Reddish

October 12, 1950 — December 10, 2021

Hugh Morris Reddish, 71, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at Augusta University Medical Center. He was born October 12, 1950 to Edward and Gladys Long Reddish and lived in this area all of his life. Hugh was a self employed Auto Mechanic, farmer and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving caring husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all he met. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gene Reddish, sister, Norma Howell.

He is survived by his wife, Margie Reddish of Ludowici, Georgia

Children, Lisa Dykes (Allan) of Ludowici, Georgia

Rhonda Baxter (John) of Glennville, Georgia

Hugh M.” Buddy” Reddish Jr. of Ludowici, Georgia

Brother, Charles Reddish (Debbie) of Ludowici, Georgia

Sister, Henrietta Hudson of Valdosta, Georgia

Grandchildren, Shanea Screen (Robert “Bo”), Carsyn Weitman ,a Great Grandchild, coming soon, Khane,  several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm, Tuesday at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Long officiating.  Burial will be in the Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Larry “Bubba” Bell III, Gene Reddish Jr., Trent Reddish, Charlie Reddish, Brad Whitlow, Danny Johns, Charlie Brown.

Care and services are entrusted to Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, Georgia.
