Metter- Inez A. Crosby, 95, of Metter died Friday afternoon at Azalea Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the care of United Hospice. The Jenkins County native moved to Metter from Statesboro in 1971. She was a member of Cedar Street Baptist Church, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, studying the Bible; and caring for her large family. Mrs. Crosby is predeceased by her Husband, Parents, 2 sons, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Mrs. Crosby is survived by the following Sons: Franklin D. Crosby of Morganton, N.C., Bobby (Doris Ann) Crosby of Metter, Douglas M. Crosby of Swainsboro, Jimmy (Becky) Crosby of East Dublin, Tony J. (Ronda) Crosby of Nevills. Daughters: Mary Ann (Earl) Howell of Statesboro, Linda C. (J. Alfred) Rowton of Benton, Tn. Daughters-In-Law: Diana Crosby of Twin City, Linda Jane Crosby of Ellabell, Special Nephews Walter L. Crosby and Francis A. Crosby, and Special Friends Ronnie and Janie Sikes. Also surviving are 13 Grand-Children, 22 Great-Grand-Children, and several Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5pm-7pm at the Metter Chapel of Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes.
Services will be conducted Sunday 2pm at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes Metter Chapel, by Ronnie Sikes.
Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
Family requests remembrances be made to any Hospice of your choice.
