Irene Kersey

Irene Spikes Kersey, 75 passed away, Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Glenvue Nursing Home. She was born in Lakeland, Florida September 30, 1934 to Felton and Beatrice Spikes. She had lived in Ridgeland and Hilton Head S.C. for many years moving to Reidsville and Ludowici several years ago. She was retired from Flash Foods as a Store Manager and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vernon Kersey, brothers, Wayne Spikes, Bobby Spikes, Harry Spikes.

She is survived by, Sons and Daughter's in law, Larry & Kathy Kersey of Ludowici
Danny & Vickie Kersey of Glennville

Sisters, Eilleen Willis, Libby Willis, Nadine Toler all of Reidsville

Sisters in law, Mary Groover, Nancy Spikes of Reidsville

Five Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Monday, March 29, 2010 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Reidsville City Cemetery.
