Jackie E. Pirkle, 72, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah. She was born March 12, 1948 to Princeton P. and Jessie Bazemore Pirkle. Jackie was a Veteran of the U S Navy where she served as a Licensed Practical Nurse from 1974-1989. After an honorable discharge she worked at Winn Army Hospital on Ft Stewart for another 15 years. She was a member of Glennville First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was also a part of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Jackie took great pride in serving as the card chairman for Women on Missions. Her card ministry touched the lives of many and is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by; Brother, Princeton P. Pirkle, Jr. several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Glennville First Baptist Church. Due to COVID 19 Military Honors will be rendered at the Church following the Service. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19, social distancing guidelines of six feet will be enforced. Masks are not required but are recommended.
