Jacob Burch

Jacob "Jake" E. Burch, 65 passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. The Toombs County native had lived in Vidalia and Reidsville most of his life. He was employed with the Vidalia Police Department from 1973 to 1981 and retired from the Georgia State Patrol in 2010 at Chief Communications Operator at Post # 18. He was a Mason and a member of Rising Sun Lodge # 32 in Reidsville where he served as Treasurer for many years. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
He is survived by, Wife, Dale Burch of Reidsville
Son, Matthew Burch of Reidsville
Sister: Billy Jean Fortner of Vidalia
Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Monday, May 20, 2013 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home, in Reidsville.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Reidsville. Burial will be in the Reidsville City Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
