James Cobb

James H. Cobb, 65 passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He was born in Savannah, August 27, 1948 to Lewis J. Jr. and Mary Lynn Cobb and lived in Tattnall County most of his life. He was retired from the U.S Army as an E7 with 24 years of service. He served in Germany, Iraq and Kuwait in Enduring Freedom. He retired from the Department of Corrections at Rogers State Prison and was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. He was a member of Mendes Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis J. Cobb Jr.

Six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm, Friday, May 9, 2014 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Sunlight Church Cemetery in Cobbtown, Georgia with Military Honors.
