James Driggers

James David Driggers, 72, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 surrounded by his family and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. He was born in Glennville, Georgia on January 14, 1942 to Lonnie and Eula Lee Ray Driggers and was a 1959 graduate of Glennville High School. He had lived in Richmond Hill for many years moving back to Glennville in 2004. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and retired from CSX Railroad after 32 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved to fish and work in his garden. He was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.

Grandchildren: Mikell, Katie, Matthew, Virginia and Caroline
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Miller and Rev.Delanie Standard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers: Joseph Driggers, Phil Lynn, Drew Stanfield, Wesley McKenzie, Timmy Boutwell, Ben Boutwell.
