James Salter

James Dean Salter, 61, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Evans Memorial Hospital. He was born August 4, 1960 to Donnie and Maridean Durrence Salter and has lived in this area all of his life. Dean was a self employed truck driver for many years and was previously employed with Blocker Trucking. He is preceded in death by his father.

Dean Salter of Claxton, Georgia
Kelly Taylor of Glennville, Georgia

Mother, Maridean Durrence Salter of Glennville, Georgia

Siblings, Dinah Wasson (Dale) of Glennville, Georgia
Debbie Dubberly (Brian) of Glennville, Georgia
Dale Salter (Melanie) of Claxton, Georgia
Patsy Stubbs of Glennville, Georgia
David Salter (Missy) of Claxton, Georgia

Grandchildren, Alexis Smith, Kody Smith, Eben Salter, Bentlee Salter, and Eli Salter

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 14, 2021at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Bacon. Burial will be private at a later date.
