Janet McCormick Fitzgerald, 64, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. She was born in Ontario Canada and lived in Glennville for many years. She was retired from Tattnall County Board of Education at Glennville Middle School. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is preceded in Death by, Great Grandson, William Avery Folsom Waters, Mother, Viola McCormick Burnham, Father, Orville McCormick, Brothers, Carl, Lyle and Ralph McCormick, Sister, Mary Lou Vidler, Brother in law, Terry Fitzgerald, Sister in Law, Stephanie Fitzgerald

She is survived by, Husband, Ralph Fitzgerald of Glennville

Son, Johnny Fitzgerald ( Delia) of Glennville

Daughter, Tina Folsom (Brent) of Glennville

Sisters, Shirley Makra and Joan Mayville of Canada

Brother, Gordon McCormick of Canada

Brothers in law, Mike Fitzgerald of Oregon, Arthur Fitzgerald (Ileana) of California

Sisters in law, Shirley Fitzgerald Miller of Oregon, Virginia Thomas of Lyons, Ga.

Grandchildren, Heather Folsom, Devin Fitzgerald, Monica Folsom, Cynthia Fitzgerald, Donovan Fitzgerald, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, November 8, 2010 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev Will Bacon officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The body will be taken to the Church one hour prior to service to lie in state.
