Jerome G. Parker, 73, went to his heavenly home Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville, GA. Jerome was born October 26, 1947 to Grady and Charlotte Anderson Parker and lived in the Reidsville area all of his life. He was a 1965 graduate of Reidsville High School, a graduate of South Georgia Technical College in Americus, GA with a degree in Electrical Technology, a graduate of Savannah Technical College with a degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a Board of Directors member of Ag South Farm Credit for 32 years, a member of Georgia Farm Bureau for 48 years and a member of Vidalia Onion Committee.  He owned and operated Jerome Parker Refrigeration for 49 years. He was a loving caring husband, father and grandfather and a member of Pineview Baptist Church and a deacon. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Ginger Rogers Parker of Reidsville, GA

Haley Howard (Sean) of Statesboro, GA

Misty Self (Will) of Statesboro, GA

Siblings, Libby Rogers (Neal) of Reidsville, GA

Brenda Tatum (Ted) of Reidsville, GA

Wayman Parker (Janice) of Reidsville, GA

Grandchildren, John, Jake and Baylee Howard, Cayla and Cody Scarborough, Trent Self

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Monday, December 28, 2020 at Pineview Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Pineview Baptist Church. Burial will be in Glennville City Cemetery.
