Glennville,
Jerry G. Cramer 64, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. The Tattnall County native was a U.S. Army veteran serving for 20 years retiring in 1983 moving back to Glennville. He served two tours in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal and several other awards. He was retired from Civil Service at Ft. Stewart and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by, wife, Julie Cramer of Glennville
Sons, Sam Cramer and Nathan Cramer both of Glennville
Daughter and Son in law, Erin & Barry Giddens of Macon
Mother, Colleen Smith of Collins
Sister, Libby Henderson (Jim) of Norfolk VA.
Brothers, John Rushing of Reidsville, Preston Rushing of Collins
Grandson, Maddux Giddens of Macon
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, Monday, March 22, 2010 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
