Jessie Beach Stanfield, 76, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in this area all of his life. He was a graduate of Glennville High School Class of 1953 and was a farmer and dedicated member of Ella Grove Baptist Church where he served as church clerk for over 30 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved to fish and he loved his Lord.

Children:Dennis & Debra Stanfield,
Keith & Dana M. Stanfield,
Dana & Crystal Stanfield, all of Glennville
12 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Ella Grove Baptist Church with Elder Dwight Brooks and Elder Tom Sollosi officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.
