Jessie Adair Weitman, Sr., 75, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Oxley Park Health & Rehabilitation Facility in Lyons, Georgia under the care of Affinis Hospice and surrounded by his loving family.

Adair was born in Glennville, Georgia on December 18, 1948 to Jessie Thomas and Jeslyn Moody Weitman and lived here most of his life. He served 23 years as a Staff Sergeant in the Georgia National Guard in Hinesville, Georgia. Adair also retired from DOL as civil service at Ft. Stewart, Georgia and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, Georgia.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding quarter horses and a love for reading. Adair was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church in Glennville, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by, his father, Jessie Thomas "JT" Weitman, paternal grandparents, Henry and Annie Weitman and maternal grandparents, Jack and Lollie Moody.

Son, Jessie Adair Weitman, Jr. (Jana) of Islamorada, Florida

Grandchildren, Elijah Weitman of Cornelia, Georgia
Christopher "Ben" Hill (Bekki) of San Diego, California
Breanne Andriot (Jamie) of Ft. Worth, Texas

Great Grandchildren, Rory and Ollie Hill, Conrad Nelson Andriot

Beloved Mother, Jeslyn Weitman of Glennville, Georgia

Brother, James Weitman (Jenny) of Glennville, Georgia

Special Sister, Angela Ambrose (Harry) of Bellville, Georgia

Nephews, Anthony Weitman (Allison) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
Colby Ambrose (Olivia Johnson) of Glennville, Georgia

Niece, Sonya Kirkland of Statesboro, Georgia

Very Special Cousin, Jack Moody of Glennville, Georgia

Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services with Rev. Steve Miller, Richie Swindell and David Cammack officiating. Burial will follow at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors.
