Jewell Woodcock

January 24, 1922 — March 6, 2011

Jewell Perkins Woodcock, 89, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Ga. The Tattnall County native has lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of the Glennville First Baptist Church, where she was the children's pianist for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by husband, Harry Woodcock, son, Lee Woodcock, and daughter, Joan Woodcock Kimble.

She is survived by:Son, Larry (Cindy) Woodcock of Hazlehurst, Ga

Daughter, Teresa (Tommy) Jordan of Gray, Ga

Ten Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Glennville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville is in charge of the arrangements.
