Jimmie Tillman

Jimmie "Jim" E. Tillman 77, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Optim Medical Center. He was born October 24, 1936 in Springfield, Illinois to Lannis E. and Edith Padgett Tillman. He had lived in North Carolina for many years moving to Glennville in 2005. He was employed many years with Interstate/Johnson Lane and was a self employed stockbroker and market analyst. He was a founding and longest continuous member of the Triumph Club of the Carolinas that was founded in Charlotte, NC in 1983. He is a member of Glennville United Methodist Church and preceded in death by, his parents, and wife, Nancy Phelps Tillman.


He is survived by,
Children, Mechelle Cunningham of Greer, S.C.
David Tillman of Glennville, Georgia
Chris Tillman of Hawkinsville, Georgia
Jay Tillman of Atlanta, Georgia

Sister, Cecelia T Altizer of Springfield, Illinois
Twelve Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren, several other relatives.

Memorial Funeral Services will be held, 3:00 pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Watermelon Creek Vineyard, 2977 Mt. Zion Church Road, Glennville, Georgia 30427. The family will receive friends after the service at the winery hall.
