Jimmy Rhodes

November 22, 1940 — February 8, 2012

Jimmy G. Rhodes, 71, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center in Statesboro. The Arkansas native had lived in this area since 1978. He was a Vietnam Veteran retiring with 20 years of military service and was the recipient of a Bronze Star and other service medals. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Jeffrey Dean Rhodes of Huntsville, AL
Stacey Holland of Glennville

2 Grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening, February 12, 2012 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 13, 2012 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Vance Riggins and Father Willis Everett officiating. Burial will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors and Masonic Rites.
Pallbearers: Bryan Anderson, Julien Mingledorff, Willie Durrence, Delmas Jones, Bill Kicklighter, Dennis Dasher, Ricky Wilson, Ralph Stafford.
