John Paul Jones, 55 passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville. He was born August 10, 1964 to Glenn and Jacqueline Simpson Jones. He was a Journey Lineman with Florida Power and Light, Pike Construction and Musgrove Simpson Builders for many years. He moved back to his childhood home where he enjoyed working on the land, hunting and fishing in his pond. Paul loved the Georgia Bulldogs, riding his mule around his property, sitting by a campfire and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Moose Club and was a loving, honorable, husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Children, Kevin Lane (Melissa) of Reidsville, Georgia
Amanda Danaher (Mike) of Baltimore, Maryland

Brother, Ronnie Jones of Reidsville, Georgia

Sister, Robin J. Canady (Randy) of Garfield, Georgia

Grandchildren, Aria and Jacqueline Lane, Tristian James

Niece, Angela Ray of Wilmington, Virginia

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will begin 1:00 pm, Friday, November 29, 2019 at Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Friday at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will be in John Paul Jones Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Joey Ray, Reese Cole, Tom Sokolski, Mike Danaher, Kevin Lane, Wally Brannen.
