Glennville,
John Roy Rogers, 64, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Tattnall County native had lived in Glennville all of his life. He was a graduate of Glennville High School Class of 1965, a U.S. Air Force Veteran with over 20 years of service. He worked with McDonald Douglas Corporation and served in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. He attended Northside Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Johnnie Bell Wilds Rogers.
He is survived by, Sister and brother in law, Dale and Darvin Johnson of Glennville
Nephews, Harry and Casey Johnson of Glennville
Great Nephews, Austin and Shane Johnson of Glennville
Several cousins and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be from 6:00 �½" 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Giddens officiating. Burial will be in Loves Chapel Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
