Johnnie Will Kessner, 82, passed away on August 31, 2024, at Glenvue Health & Rehab under the care of Community Hospice. She was born on December 21, 1941, in Baxley, Georgia to Joseph Lee and Betty Wilson Eason and lived in this area all of her life.
Johnnie was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family, creating a warm and nurturing home filled with love. Her passion for cooking and gardening brought great joy to her. She took great pride in sharing her love through food and the beauty of her garden.
Johnnie attended Lighthouse Church in Collins, Georgia. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and guidance through the years.
Johnnie is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by:
Husband, Gerald Kessner of Reidsville, Georgia
Children, David Kessner
Cheryl Ann Mosley (Bernice) all of Reidsville, Georgia
Sisters, Christine, Louella and Nellie
Grandchildren, Bryan Mosley, Michael Mosley, Denise Thompson (Jacob)
Several other relatives also survive.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Pineview Church Cemetery.
