Johnny Franklin Smith

Johnny F. Smith, 85 passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Camellia Health and Rehabilitation under the care of Affinis Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born February 4, 1938 to George and Nancy Lou Deloach Smith and lived in Evans County most of his life. He was a farmer, loved to fish and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed pedaling fruit and vegetables to his neighbors and friends. He was an avid outdoors man and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Jerry Smith, Janice Lands and daughter Lynn Sapp

He is survived by,

         Children, Julie Bland (Jonathon) of Glennville, GA,

                         Norma Hall of Claxton, GA

                         Tommy Wall of Claxton, GA

          Son In-law, Kevin Sapp of Claxton, GA

          Siblings, Joe Smith (Miriam)

                         Jimmy Smith (Jean)  

                         Jackie Smith all of Claxton GA

           Grandchildren, Magan Hall, Brooke Wall, Brandon Wall, Jace Danner, Alex Sapp

           Great Grandchildren, Jayden Hall, Cayden Hall, Bryce Cunningham, Brodie Cunningham

Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Justin Gordon and Rev. Gary Bradham officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
