Joyce "Joy" Evans Cox, 57, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 surrounded by her family and under the care of Bethany Hospice after an extended illness. She was born in Glennville, Georgia January 19, 1960 to Dan and June Kicklighter Evans and lived in Glennville before moving to Florida in 1987. She was employed as a manager in retail sales with Sears for many years and loved to go to the Beach and be with her family. She was a member of Rockledge United Methodist Church and preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Steve Evans.

Daughter, Tonya (Chad) Dasher of Glennville, Georgia
Grandchildren, Jacob, Michael and Trey Dasher all of Glennville, Georgia
Brother and Sister-in-law, James Evans and McDonna Evans of Sweeney, Texas
Special Cousins, Cindy Kicklighter of Glennville, Georgia
Brandon Waters of Glennville, Georgia
God-Son, Logan Bussart of Merritt Island, Florida
Sister in Law, Catherine Evans of Glennville, Georgia
Special Friend, Rhonda Raines of Merritt Island, Florida
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 17, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM, Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Elder Tom Horn officiating. Burial will be in Beards Creek Church Cemetery.
