Judy H. Jorge, 78, passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Southern Care Hospice. She was born January 21, 1939 in West Palm Beach, Florida and was a resident of Glennville for the last 25 years. She spent many years in Atlanta, raising her children and furthering her education, eventually earning her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. She taught Elementary School for 31 years, retiring from Long County Public Schools. Judy enjoyed reading, sewing, collecting tea pots, bible study, cooking, playing scrabble, and listening to opera. She was an active member in the Glennville United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy May Sites Harding and Emmett Paul Harding II.

Memorial Funeral Services will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Glennville United Methodist Church 116 South Caswell Street, Glennville, GA 30427 with Rev. David Hibberts and Rev. Sam Wilder officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 pm at the Church.
